Designers Umberto Leon and Carol Lim presented their latest collection for the Kenzo brand. Recently it became known that after 8 years of work, they decided to leave the fashion house and focus on their own brand Opening Ceremony.
Kenzo’s spring 2020 creative collection is dedicated to the ocean and everything related to it. According to the designers, the images of women divers from Japan formed the basis of the clothing line. Thus, bright neoprene suits, a net in the form of tops, dresses, avosek and gloves, reminiscent of fishing nets, silk dresses imitating the surface of the water, and prints in the form of mermaids appeared in the collection. The color palette is represented by all shades of the ocean and its inhabitants. Sea accessories were also continued: necklaces made of shells and natural stones, pearls, silk kerchiefs and miniature bags.
